Here's a picture of what December looks like so far in NC. Most of the leaves are gone, but a considerable amount have really thick dark green leaves that don't seem to fall off. We are about 2 months behind VT. It is in the low to mid 50s and usually sunny or overcast, but no rain or snow yet. Very mild!
We had guests John and Amy over last night and definitely had to make the living room a living ROOM. We brought the futon and TV stuff in there and now it is a nice little area. I also have my new table I found waiting to be thrown out by someone crazy! It is really nice and a heavy one that will last. Doesn't go with my white chairs, but that's ok.
Introducing........CHUNK THE FERRET! He had been at the pet store for a really long time, and no one wanted him because he was so fat, but we loved him when Matt picked him up and he just kind of snorted and sighed and laid there. Opposite of Gonzo! They gave us a discount because he was there so long and was so overweight! He is running around now, though, and he will unfortunately lose the weight. :( We like him chunky!
Aww! Gonz finally has a pal to cuddle with!
Nothing like ferret friendship
Chunk is the biggest ferret we've ever seen! He weighs over 5 lbs!
It is Fiesta time for a little Puerto Rican kid at Briarwood Apartments! They partied all day and till 11:00 p.m. Of course, you can't forget the "La Princesa" cart man!!! LOL!
The tree was in the way, but there were a ton of people behind it in the playground sitting at tables and there were balloons up the wazoo!
